Soft Tissue Verdict
$190,000 Verdict for 14 year old girl who was injured in a motor vehicle accident. She suffered soft tissue injuries but was unable to participate in cheerleading or scuba diving as a result of her injuries.
MRIs and EMGs were normal. The doctors testified at trial that the client had suffered only a soft tissue injury, but that the effects were permanent.
The case had to be tried before a jury. The Defendant had only offered $15,000 before trial. The Plaintiff had filed a Proposal for Settlement for $35,000. As a result of the verdict and judgment, the Defendant was also required to pay the Plaintiff's attorney's fees and costs.
