Alva, FL (May 26, 2026) – Eight people were reported hurt following a bus and pickup truck collision in Alva on Tuesday, May 26. The roadway incident occurred around 6:08 a.m. at the intersection of First Street and State Road 80.

The Florida Highway Patrol stated that a 2011 Freightliner B2 bus was traveling north on First Street and attempted to make a left turn onto State Road 80.
